Poetic Pastel Press was founded in London in 2015 by the painter and interdisciplinary artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck.

Poetic Pastel Press, through collaborations, conceptualises, designs, and produces original and positive contemporary arts and culture publications. These include content produced by Poetic Pastel’s growing circle of friends and peers. Since 2015, Poetic Pastel Press creates limited-edition artist publications available internationally. PPP publications are printed locally and at times assembled entirely by hands, therefore receiving individual attention. Historical and artisanal paper mills Lana Papier and G.F Smith have supported PPP for selected projects. In spring 2018, in collaboration with Timann S. Wendelstein (75W Studio), Poetic Pastel Press published its first magazine, Journal du Thé - Contemporary Tea Culture.
